I know what I am... to post this sort of thing on the ERR5RS list made
cringe, but where else was I going to ask about the ERR5RS? :D

Just so.

I guess the best I can hope for is that one day in the future some
kind soul will make an ERR5RS lib that wraps the complexity of
multi-implementation FFIs magically away.

I do hope that you guys will spec an env var for
.scm/.sch/.sls/.swhatever libraries :)
