Well, one thing it gets us is permanent links totally under
our control, and everything gathered into one place (the older
mailing list must have some wisdom). I could even massage it
into HTML with an anchor for each paragraph:
"As Proverbs 28:1 says...."
Hmmm, as the last half of that applies to working on a Wiki:
"The wicked flee when none pursue, but the righteous are
bold as a lion."
Be Bold, ye Lions of Scheme As We Know It. ^_^
And make them easy and fast to read as needed, e.g. a downloadable
version to eliminate network lag, upon which you can use your
personal favorite local search engine(s)).
I am VERY happy to see the level and quality of work that's
going into ERR5RS at this very early stage. Note that I am
independently backing up the database every day, we have the
worst cases of data retention and continuity of service covered.
